Silent Story Borobudur

The folklores around the great temple of Borobudur are as if scattered pieces of puzzle. In this tour, we will bring you to ride bicycles and collect the puzzle pieces on several sites around the Borobudur temple to complete the story of the temple in the end of the tour. Height 130 cm : using a children seat with parent
Height 131-140 cm : carrier on back seat with parent
Height 150 cm or able to ride a bike : small bike by himself

Best Time To Visit

Morning Time:
To make the most of your experience, we recommend starting the tour at 7:00 AM, shortly after sunrise, which is around 5:30 AM. This timing allows you to enjoy cooler temperatures, with the tour finishing around 10:00 AM. By 11:00 AM, it can get quite hot. Please note that our usual lunch time is from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

Afternoon Option:
The second option is to start the tour at 2:30 PM when the temperature begins to cool down as we approach sunset around 5:30 PM. We will return to the endpoint before it gets dark, around 6:00 PM. This timing is perfect for you to enjoy a leisurely dinner after a few hours of cycling.

What to Wear for Your Cycling Tour:

  1. Comfortable Clothing: Wear lightweight, breathable clothing that allows for easy movement.

  2. Cycling Shorts or Pants: Padded cycling shorts or pants can provide extra comfort for longer rides.

  3. Closed-Toe Shoes: Comfortable, closed-toe shoes with good grip are essential for safety and efficient pedaling.

  4. Light Jacket : Depending on the weather, a light jacket or windbreaker can be helpful to protect you from the humid or wind early morning tour.

The items you need to prepare for the tour :

  1. Light and comfortable clothing;
  2. Hat (optional);
  3. Closed-toe shoes or sports sandals;
  4. Water bottle (tumbler).
